OIFMack:

Thank you!

But as I see it, it’s the Veteran who doesn’t do what’s needed, they continue to rely on the Big Six, who have decades of failure in serving the Veterans who are their members.

In Six years the only thing I’ve seen was the VFW and American Legion go to the White House to talk the POTUS out of trying to force Veterans to pay for their own medical care, but… the only reason they did as they each received a Million Dollar Donation from the Insurance Lobbyists to stop it.

As for the Obama’s, I can’t and do not trust either one. If one can stand before a camera and lie, so can the other.

In order for us to secure more legislation for Veterans, then more Veterans need to come forward and help and MAKE their voices heard. And not to stand for lip service from any member of Congress any longer!

First and foremost, THANK YOU Mr. Davis, for carrying on where your dad left off. It is an honor
to know that I served in a military that consisted of your dad.

I am a Soldier and a 24 year veteran of OIF 2004-2006 through and through.

Have been dealing with the VA for 5 years and to be perfectly blunt, it is a travesty. I have researched well over a dozen pieces of legislation and/or intended "acts" of potential legislation. With all due respect, and having spoken with numerous veterans, the general consensus is that "it is what it is". Another piece of "politically directed actions" to build upon a political resume.

Surely, you and the reader detect a negative charge in my posting here, but assured, I am riding the "intellectually balanced" train. Michelle Obama and "I love veterans approach", is a mere token of the "what to do as the first lady token stance to look good for my husband" routine.

Veterans have always been used as "puppets" because it is simply the "best token and politically correct on demand" element of the U.S. government.

Shinseki has clearly maintained that the veteran is the best thing since the invention of time and "that all veterans are being treated better than ever before". A politically direct lie.

We can sit around all day cheering on legislation and applauding efforts to "appease" veterans and their families. But the simple fact remains:

""Veterans have done what most have not the courage to do""

When the American people realize that:

""" Veterans are treated no differently than a common criminal; When veterans are both misguided and appeased based on VA policy; When veterans are verbally abused over the phone when simply looking for answers and not script; when veterans are used as political action figures to promote a failed ideology or socialistic or any viewpoint; and when veterans are brought to their knees because they are trained in a manner that shows more class while force feeding patience, however impossible...."""""

Veterans are the answer to America's problems, we just need to come out of our shells.....

I Do Not Support Any Further Legislation Related To Veterans Issues or Concerns. I no longer advocate politics and\or policy over values..... My values are of honor and NOT attached to strings.

Mr. Davis, you and your dad are men of honor so please, carry on but please do not cave in....
