Thank you. I will contact you for my husband. He is 100% Service Connected and has been treated by VA for 15 years. He has always received excellent care, until we moved to Klamath Falls. I tried to talk to the patient advocate about getting him coverage so he won't be such an inconvenience at this clinic.

Alternative Healthcare For Vets was created by scOOter
As a result of the back logs from the VA, our Veterans are now looking outside the VA for alternative healthcare. Since they have the Red, White & Blue card with Part A & B, which IS an alternative form of healthcare, they now look outside for: Unlimited Dr. and Specialist visits, Unlimited Hospitalization, Faster Referrals (there is no 6 mos waiting period), Cheaper Generic Medications ($0), a 2nd opinion, Ancillaries (free stuff like Gym Membership, Transportation, Vision, Dental) and the FREEDOM to choose their own medical, which is powerful for these folks.

The Vets do NOT have to be 60% service connected in order to get the Dental. They do NOT even have to be service connected to get into these programs. The only requirement is Medicare Part A & B. I also assist them in obtaining Medi-Cal.

I am an independent Medicare/Health plan Consultant who has been helping Veterans with Medicare, choose the plan that best suits their needs. Although I do not work for any governmental agency, I represent more than 20 different Medicare Supplement and Medicare Advantage Plans.

Below is a summary of what I offer our Vets & Srs. at NO COST:
• I sit down with them and show them how Medicare works;
• I educate them on ALL of their plan options and how they will work;
• I input all of their drugs into the Medicare.gov system to see which plans will cover their prescriptions at the zero - low cost;
• I make sure that they choose a plan that their Doctors accept;
• I make sure they are placed with a network that will allow them to use the hospitals of their choice;
• I answer any questions that they have;
• I will help them apply for extra help if needed (low income subsidy);
• I give each Veteran an annual benefit review to ensure they are always on a plan that fits all of their needs;
• I truly do NOT SELL plans.

I have a passion for the Vets since I come from a family of Vets and I worked at the VA in Seattle years ago. I witnessed the poor health care these people received and I have always had a soft spot in my heart for them. I work the Stand Downs and the Pow Wows. My table is usually packed because they need this. There is NO cost to the Vets for these programs as there is no premium.

Please contact me if I can be of service to you or someone you know.
