Featured during the conference is a career fair from 11 a.m.-3 p.m., Friday, Feb. 9; and from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 10.
Navy Civilian Careers staff in booth #201 will include representatives from Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA); Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR); Space & Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR), Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC); and Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP).
"NAVSEA Hiring Managers will be onsite to meet with potential candidates for numerous positions across the command at the Warfare Centers and at the Headquarters," said Jennifer Humpherys, NAVSEA Corporate Operations.
"Hiring managers are prepared to do on-the-spot interviews, schedule follow-on interviews, invite applicants to come out and visit sites and potentially offer jobs on the spot."
Humphreys said the career fair is an opportunity for students and professionals to learn about cutting edge research and job opportunities.
"All interested candidates are welcome to visit the Navy Civilian Careers booth, #201, to meet with representatives of NAVSEA," Humpherys said. "NAVSEA consistently finds quality candidates year after year at the BEYA Career Fair."
